Abstract :
This study discusses the effect of morale and the quality of public services on community satisfaction. Researchers are interested in studying the problem of morale and service quality at the Merbau Camat Office because the Merbau Camat Office is a government implementing unit that functions to serve the community so that employees in the sub-district office are expected to have good performance so that people who carry out licensing arrangements can feel they get good service. This refers to the MENPAN Decree No. 63 of 2003 which states that the essence of public services is the provision of excellent service to the community which is the embodiment of the obligations of government officials as state servants. This study uses a mix of research methods, because it is a combination of quantitative and qualitative. After the data was processed quantitatively, the researchers conducted interviews to obtain more in-depth results. The results of the study prove that there is a positive and significant effect of the variables of work spirit and service quality on community satisfaction, both bivariate and multivariate. The results of interviews with researchers also show that work morale and service quality affect people's satisfaction.
