Abstract :
This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interactions and the main effects of Giving Compost Fertilizer for Oil Palm Empty Bunches and NPK 16:16:16 on Edamame Soybean Growth and Production (Glycine max L. Merill). The design used was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of two factors. The first factor was Oil Palm Empty Bunch (T) Compost Fertilizer with a dose of 140.6, 281.2, and 421.8 g/plot while the second factor was NPK 16:16:16 (N) at a dose of 0.78, 1.5, and 2.28 g/plant. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), net assimilation rate (mg/cm2/day), relative growth rate (g/day), weight of fresh crop pods (g), number of pods for planting (fruit), weight of crop seeds (g) The last observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with a BNJ follow-up test at the level of 5%. The results of this study concluded that the interaction of Compost Fertilizer with Oil Palm Empty Bunches and dosages of NPK 16:16:16 had a significant effect on plant height, relative growth rate, weight of fresh pods in plants, number of plant pods, weight of crop seeds. The best treatment is in the treatment of Oil Palm Empty Bunch Compost Fertilizer 281.2 g/plot and NPK 16:16:16 1.5 g/plant dose (T2N2). The main effect of giving Palm Oil Empty Fruit Bunch Compost Fertilizer is real to plant height, net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, fresh pod weight of crop, number of crop pods, weight of crop seeds. The best treatment is found in the 281.2 g/plot (T2) Oil Palm Empty Bunch Compost fertilizer. The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 dosage is real on plant height, net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, weight of fresh pods in plants, number of crop pods, weight of crop seeds. The best treatment is in NPK 16:16:16 1.5 g/plant (N2).
