Abstract :
Evaluation of program implementation by the field of women's empowerment, the Office of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning, Meranti Islands Regency. However, in practice, there are still some problems, especially in the field of women's empowerment. The research method uses qualitative research methods as a technique for data collection and direct interviews with informants such as the Head of Service, Head of the Division of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Head of the Women's Empowerment Section, Staff of the Women's Empowerment Section, Community (recipients of DSPPPAPPKB services). The results showed that the implementation of women's empowerment programs at the Office of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Occupational Control and Family Planning in the Meranti Islands Regency was quite successful but still not optimal, considering what the hopes and objectives contained in the policy could be achieved, namely to increasing working capital and increasing business profits can be partially achieved, but the absence of guidance and supervision needs to be anticipated so that the overall policy objectives can be achieved. The inhibiting factor in implementing women's empowerment program policies at the Office of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Occupational Control and Family Planning in the Meranti Islands Regency, namely the lack of awareness of beneficiaries to be able to use funds to optimize business capital and try to increase business activities. Weak supervision by the Office of Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Control of Occupation and Family Planning in the Meranti Islands Regency to oversee policies so that they are implemented in accordance with policy objectives so as to get results that are not in line with expectations.
