Abstract :
Adolescence is the time between being a child towards the time to discovery their identity, where at the moment a teenager usually will act impulsively or carelessly without thinking about the consequences of their behaviour.This study aims to determine the relationship between family functioning and juvenile delinquency on students of Senior High School Pekanbaru with a sample size of 200 people. The sampling technique used is a purposive sampling method. The research data was collected by using two scales, the scale of family functioning and the scale of juvenile delinquency. The results of this study use Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis (PPMC). The results of the analysis that have been carried out indicate that there is a significant negative relationship between family functioning with juvenile delinquency on students of PGRI Senior High School Pekanbaru by (r = -0,694, p = 0,482). Consequently, the higher family functioning the lower juvenile delinquency. The contribution value given is R = 0.482 or equal to 48.2%.
