Abstract :
The culture of something that can?t be separated in our lives, one example of the culture weacounter at Taluk Kuantan area is pacu jalur (run the lane) in the race everylane to be a forefront and needs good teamwork. Reseacer found that there, where track runner lazing around in training and it makes collaboration group is not good. If group collaboration is low then achievement motivation will also low. The subject in this research is 67 member of pacu jalur (run the lane) in Alang Kepayang Village, Rengat district, west of Indragiri Hulu regency. Which was chosen by probability sampling design technigue. The measure that use is licert scale. The analysis that used in this research is product moment correlation. The statistic result showed r 0.000 with a sig 0,784** (p>0,01). Which mean that there is a relation between group cohesive with prestasion motivation in pacu jalur (run the lane) member. Grouf cohesive contributed effective 61,5% to achievement motivation, the remaining 38,5% was influenced by other factors. So the higher group cohesive, the higher achievement motivation and otherwise.
