Abstract :
Juvenile delinquency is behavior that exceeds the tolerance limits of others or the environment and acts that violate norms and the law. Juvenile delinquency can arise from low spiritual intelligence. This study aims to determine the relationship of spiritual intelligence with juvenile delinquency in students of Hasanah MTS Pekanbaru. The subjects of this study were 167 students of Hasanah MTS Pekanbaru. The subject taking technique used is random sampling. Measuring instruments used are the scale of juvenile delinquency and spiritual intelligence. The analysis used in this study is Pearson product moment correlation. Statistical analysis showed that the value of r = 0,000 with Sig = -0,284 ** (p <0.01), meaning that there is a significant negative relationship between spiritual intelligence and juvenile delinquency in students of Hasanah MTS Pekanbaru. Spiritual intelligence contributes 80% to juvenile delinquency. The remaining 20% is influenced by other factors, the higher the spiritual intelligence, the lower the juvenile delinquency in students, and vice versa.
