Abstract :
Analysis of Oil Palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) Marketing in Pasir Limau Kapas Village, Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Under the Guidance of Mr. Dr. Fahrial SP., SE., ME Oil palm is one of the plantation commodities which is Indonesia's export commodity. The oil palm commodity has a strategic role in the Indonesian economy and particularly in Riau Province. This study aims to: 1). Analyze the characteristics of farmers and oil palm FFB traders in Pasir Limau Kapas Village, Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency 2). Analyze the institutions, channels, and marketing functions of oil palm FFB in Pasir Limau Kapas Village, Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency 3). Analyze marketing costs, marketing profits, marketing margins, farmer share and marketing efficiency of oil palm FFB in Pasir Limau Kapas Village, Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The method used in the research is the survey method, the research was conducted in the village of Pasir Limau Kapas, starting from October 2019 to February 2020. The sampling of farmers was carried out by simple random sampling of 30 farmers, while 3 traders/agents of FFB using the method Census. The results showed 1). The average age of the farmers is 45.65 years, the average education level is 9 years, the average experience is 11.23 years, the average number of dependents is 2.6 people. The average age of the traders is 36 years, the average education level is 10 years, the average experience is 4.67 years, the average number of dependents is 2 people. 2). The marketing agencies and channels involved in oil palm marketing are farmers, agents and mills. The marketing functions of oil palm that are carried out by marketing agencies include the functions of harvesting, purchasing, selling, transporting, assuming risks, and market information. 3). marketing costs of Rp 58.96 / Kg, marketing margins of oil palm FFB of Rp. 400 / kg, marketing profits of Rp. 341 / kg, Farmer's share of 69.23% and efficient marketing of oil palm stated efficient with an efficiency value of 4.54% .
