Abstract :
Labor is any person who works by receiving wages or other forms of remuneration. Labor is everyone who is able to do work to produce goods and services either to meet the needs of themselves or the community. Workers are governed by government people their rights and obligations for their economic well-being and life. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the subjective well-being of loading and unloading workers in Perawang who are members of the federation of Indonesian transport workers unions is. This study aims to determine how the subjective well-being of loading and unloading workers in Perawang who are members of the federation of Indonesian transport workers unions is. This research is a field research in Perawang, Tualang District, Siak Regency. Methods of collecting observation data (Observation), interviews, and documentation. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were two loading and unloading workers who were active and members of the Perawang FSPTI labor union which were used based on a purposive sampling procedure. The results of this study indicate that the components of life satisfaction both subjects have satisfaction and happiness at work and in living their lives. In positive affection or positive feelings, the two subjects have in common, namely feelings of pleasure, happiness, optimism, honesty, responsibility, not jealousy, pride, gratitude, high faith and always appreciating. In the negative affect component, the two subjects have slight differences, namely the first subject has negative affect in the form of pessimism, fear of not being able to meet the needs of life, guilt and anxiety, the second subject has negative affect in the form of sadness, regret, emotions and worries for the life to come.
