Abstract :
Middle adulthood is one of the stages of individual development with an age range of 40-60 years which is undergoing many changes such as physical changes, sensory abilities, health and declining sexuality changes. These changes turned out to affect satisfaction in the marital relationship. Marriage satisfaction can be realized because of the value of religiosity in the individual, where religiosity is a strong belief in the creator for all His will. Subjects in this study amounted to 262 people aged 40-60 years. Data collection uses a religiosity scale of 29 items with a reliability value of = 0.916 and a marital satisfaction scale of 22 items with a reliability value of = 0.846. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation with the results obtained showing a correlation value of 0.235 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05) it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between religiosity and marital satisfaction, where the higher the religiosity, the higher the marital satisfaction experienced and vice versa. The effective contribution of 0.055 means that religiosity provides an effective contribution of 5.5% to the variable of marital satisfaction while the rest is influenced by other factors.
