Abstract :
Research was conducted in the East Dumai area, Dumai City, Riau Province. The research objective is to determine the hydrological conditions, the feasibility of groundwater quality, to determine the direction of groundwater distribution through the making of groundwater maps in physicochemical parameters namely color, taste and odor, temperature, pH, conductivity and total dissolved solid (TDS). There were 38 dug well stations analyzed, overall the pH value of dug wells ranged from 4.8 - 6.8, the total dissolved solid (TDS) ranged from 26 mg / l in the West - 12607 mg / l in the North, the conductivity values ranged from 40.7 µS / cm is in the West - 20806 µS / cm is in the North and the temperature is between 26 ° C - 28.8 ° C. The relationship between conductivity and total dissolved solid (TDS) is directly proportional seen from the value of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.9909 and the correlation of determination (R2) of 0.9818. From the research that has been done, there are 4 stations consumable dug wells and 34 wells that station is not suitable for consumption by PERMENKES eligibility standards in 2010.
