Abstract :
Slope stability is important for the people that using the road. Landslide and avalanches causes financial loss because the highway had important rules for the people. The research is located on the Riau ? West Sumatra highway Km 165. The purpose of this research is to determine the treatment or mitigation that can be given to the slope stability and to determine the soil classification based on the Atterberg Limits. The research slope is divided into 3 parts using the Rock Structure Rating analysis on different slope conditions. And 1 part of the slope using the Atterberg Limits analysis. The treatment or mitigation that can be done is by installing bolt and shotcrete basen on RSR diagrams.
