Abstract :
The research area is in the area of Aliantan and Surrounding, Kabun District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province is part of the Central Sumatra basin, lithology Formation Formation of the study area in the form of sandstones known as reservoirs that produce oil that has long been in production, Sandstone Formations used based on the composition of QF- LF has the name Arenite Quartz sandstone and Sublitharenite sandstone, based on granulometry calculations. Sandstone Formation of the study area is far from the source, based on the QF-LF diagram Sandstone Formation Formation is derived from the tectonic order of the continental craton section and recycled orogenic sub quartzose recycled. Sandstone diagenesis mesogenesis "burial diagenesis" at the compacting and cementation stages.
