Abstract :
Student motivation is very important in entrepreneurship so that it can be influential in running a business, this can be seen from the results of research that an entrepreneurial student is driven by a desire to have more income. The purpose of this study was to determine student entrepreneurship motivation in students of the Faculty of Economics, Riau Islamic University. This research analysis tool is descriptive and uses SPSS version 22. The sample of this study were 36 students who already had a business. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire accompanied by interviews with business respondents. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that based on the recapitulation of respondents' responses regarding the variables of personal factors, social factors, and entrepreneurial learning factors in the students of the Faculty of Economics, Riau Islamic University, they are categorized highly on entrepreneurial motivation. Based on the results of the study showed that student entrepreneurship motivation with results of 76.1% for indicators of personal factors, social factors with results of 74.3%, entrepreneurial learning factors with results of 52.1%. So that the most dominant factor in this study is personal factors.
