Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of badminton long service skills through audio visual learning media and increase understanding in carrying out long service delivery for students of class VII1 at SMP Negeri 2 Siak Hulu. This type of research is PTK (Classroom Action Research). Grade VII1 students of SMP Negeri 2 Siak Hulu with a total of 32 people consisting of 16 sons and 16 girls. The sample technique in this study was total sampling so the number of samples was 32 students. The results of the application of audio visual learning media obtained an average length of learning outcomes in badminton games is 71 with the number of students completing or passing as much as 66%. The application of audio-visual learning media in the second cycle obtained an average of long service learning outcomes in badminton games by 79 and the number of students completing or passing as much as 91%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of audio visual learning media can improve the results of long service learning in badminton learning in grade VII.I students of SMP Negeri 2 Siak Hulu Negri .
