Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 1) sertifikasi guru, 2) motivasi kerja
dan 3) sertifikasi guru dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru PNS di SMPN Kecamatan
Nanggala Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Hipotesis penelitian adalah dugaan pengaruh: 1) apakah
sertifikasi guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, 2) apakah motivasi guru berpengaruh terhadap
kinerja guru, dan 3) apakah sertifikasi guru dan motivasi guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif terkait. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 45 orang
guru SMPN yang bersertifikat di Kecamatan Nanggala. Daerah Toraja Utara. Pengelolaan data
menggunakan hasil angket yang dukumpulkan yakni Srtifikasi ( ? = 0,802), Motivasi guru (? =
0,078) dan Kinerja guru (? = 0,805)..
Informasi (data) dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif, dengan memakai persamaan regresi
tunggal dan asumsi dari analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS 16 Secara deskriptif
diperoleh hasil bahwa sertifikasi guru ada pada kategori dan presentase baik dengan rata-rata skor
77,85, sedangkan motivasi guru ada pada kriteria dan presentase cukup dengan rata-rata skor
64,31 dan kinerja guru termasuk dalam kategori Baik dengan rata-rata skor 84,31. Maka tingkat
pengaruh 86,10.
Hasil penyelidikan perbandingan regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa: 1) guru yang memiliki sertifikasi signifikan memengaruhi kinerja guru mencapai 65%, 2) guru yang memiliki
motivasi kerja signifikan memengaruhi kinerja guru mencapai 25%. Hasil perbandingan regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa: sertifikat dan motivasi guru dengan signifikasi memengaruhi
kinerja guru mencapai 77,5% Kata kunci: sertifikasi guru, motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru. / This study aims to determine the effect of 1) teacher certification, 2) work motivation and
3) teacher certification and work motivation on the performance of PNS teachers at SMPN
Nanggala District, North Toraja Regency. The research hypothesis is the alleged influence of: 1)
does teacher certification affect teacher performance, 2) does teacher motivation affect teacher
performance, and 3) does teacher certification and teacher motivation affect teacher performance.
This study uses related quantitative methods. The study population consisted of 45 certified SMPN
teachers in Nanggala District. North Toraja Region. Data management uses the results of
questionnaires that are collected, namely Certification (? = 0.802), teacher motivation (? = 0.078)
and teacher performance (? = 0.805).
Information (data) was analyzed through descriptive statistics, using a single regression
equation and assumptions from multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16. Descriptively, the
results obtained were that teacher certification was in a good category and percentage with an
average score of 77.85, while teacher motivation was on criteria and sufficient percentage with
an average score of 64.31 and teacher performance is included in the Good category with an
average score of 84.31. So the level of influence is 86.10.
The results of a simple regression comparison investigation show that: 1) teachers who
have certification significantly affect teacher performance by up to 65%, 2) teachers who have
work motivation significantly affect teacher performance by up to 25%. The results of multiple
regression comparisons show that: certificates and teacher motivation significantly affect teacher
performance reaching 77.5%
