Abstract :
Media dihebohkan dengan tertangkapnya seorang artis terkenal atas kasus prostitusi online di Surabaya. Setelah mengetahui inisial artis tersebut, media mencari informasi terkait identitas artis yang bersangkutan, hingga akhirnya terungkaplah identitas serta nama jelas artis yang berinisial VA. Setelah mengetahui nama dan identitas artis tersebut, media mulai mengungkap kepribadian artis tersebut, berapa tarif yang dipatok artis itu saat menjalankan prostitusi dan segala macam yang bersangkutan mengenai artis VA terus-menerus diberitakan oleh waratwan. Media detik.com melakukan pembingkaian pada berita prostitusi online artis dengan menonjolkan perempuan dan cenderung memojokkan perempuannya saja yang bersalah pada kaus tersebut. Seharusnya media tidak boleh melakukan hal tersebut, maka dari itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimanakah pembingkaian berita yang dilakukan oleh detik.com dalam memberitakan prostitusi online artis?. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan analisis pembingkaian model Robert N Entman yang didukung oleh konsep pembingkaian (framing) dan konsep gender. Kemudian pada hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan tiga temuan cara media detik.com membingkai kasus tersebut. Yang pertama yaitu stereotype,kedua yaitu media melakukan penonjolan penonjolan aspek dalam berita prostitusi online VA, dan temuan yang treakhir yaitu, media memberikan opini. Dari temuan ? temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa wartawan detik.com hingga kini masih memiliki sifat berpikir yang patriarki dan tidak sensitif gender dengan menonjolkan dan menjatuhkan VA dalam kasus prostitusi online. Kata Kunci: Framing, Gender, Media Online, Prostitusi Online The media was shocked by the capture of a famous artist for an online prostitution case in Surabaya. After knowing the artist's initials, the media searched for information related to the identity of the artist in question, until finally the identity and clear name of the artist whose initials VA was revealed. After learning about the artist's name and identity, the media began to reveal the personality of the artist, how much the tariff was set by the artist when running prostitution and all sorts of concerns regarding VA artists were constantly reported by the waratwan. The media should not be able to do this, so this research was conducted to see how the framing of the news carried out by detik.com in reporting the online prostitution of artists ?. To answer this question, researchers used a Robert N Entman framing analysis model that was supported by the concept of framing and the concept of gender. Then in the results of this study, researchers found three findings on how detik.com media framed the case.
