Katarak masih menjadi penyebab utama kebutaan di seluruh dunia. Kehilangan pengelihatan karena kekeruhan lensa dapat diatasi dengan pembedahan katarak. Perbaikan ketajaman penglihatan setelah bedah katarak bisa diukur lewat kedalaman bilik mata depan dan tekanan intraokular
Objektif
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencari apakah ada hubungan kedalaman bilik mata depan terhadap tekana intraokular 1 hari sesudah bedah katarak
Metode
Pasien yang terdiagnosis katarak di pilih berdasarkan purposive accidental sampling pada bulan September-November di RSU UKI. Semua pasien tersebut diukur kedalaman bilik mata depan dan tekanan intraokular dengan biometri dan non kontak tonometri.
Hasil
Pada penelitian ini menemukan adanya hubungan kedalaman bilik mata depan terhadap tekanan intraokualar sebelum dan 1 hari sesudah bedah katarak (p=0.002)
Abstract
Cataract still remains as the leading cause of blindness in worldwide. Vision loss in cataract due to clouding of the lens is reversible because it could be corrected by cataract surgery. Visual repairment post cataract surgery can be measured through anterior chamber depth and intraocular pressure.
Objective
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship of anterior chamber depth and intraocular pressure pre and 1 day post cataract surgery.
Methods
Participants associated with cataract were selected with purposive accidental sampling on September-November in UKI Hospital. All participants had anterior chamber depth and intraocular preasure examination that measured by biometry and non contact tonometry pre and 1 day post cataract surgery.
Result
This research discovered a relationship between anterior chamber depth and intraocular pressure pre and 1 day post cataract surgery ( p = 0.002)
