Abstract :
Hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi adalah peningkatan tekanan darah sistolik
lebih dari 140 mmHg dan tekanan darah diastolic lebih dari 90 mmHg pada dua
kali pengukuran dengan selang waktu lima menit dalam keadaan cukup istirahat
atau tenang. Banyak faktor yang dapat memperbesar risiko atau kecenderungan
seseorang menderita hipertensi, diantaranya ciri-ciri individu seperti umur, jenis
kelamin dan suku, faktor genetik serta faktor lingkungan seperti kebiasaan minum
kopi dan merokok. Kandungan kafein dalam kopi yang berlebih dapat berdampak
negatif bagi kesehatan salah satunya hipertensi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penulis
tertarik ingin melakukan meneliti gambaran pengetahuan dan perilaku pada
barista terhadap hipertensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik deskriptif.
Penelitian dilakukan di kedai kopi daerah Cileungsi, Jawa Barat pada bulan
Desember 2018 ? Januari 2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua
barista, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini adalah semua barista di kedai kopi daerah
Cileungsi, Jawa Barat sebanyak 56 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
sebagian besar 26 barista (46,4%) berpengetahuan cukup baik tentang dampak
kafein terhadap hipertensi, 15 barista (26,8%) berpengetahuan baik tentang
dampak kafein terhadap hipertensi, dan 15 barista (26,8%) berpengetahuan kurang
baik tentang dampak kafein terhadap hipertensi. Selain itu sebagian besar 34
barista (60,7%) berperilaku kurang baik tentang dampak kafein terhadap
hipertensi, 12 barista (21,4%) berperilaku cukup baik tentang dampak kafein
terhadap hipertensi, dan hanya 10 barista (17,9%) berperilaku baik tentang
dampak kafein terhadap hipertensi. Disarankan agar barista perlu melakukan
tindak pencegahan hipertensi dengan cara mengatur konsumsi kopi untuk
mengendalikan tingkat hipertensi.

Hypertension or high blood pressure is an increase in the systolic blood pressure
for more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure for more than 90 mmHg on
two measurements with an interval of five minutes in a state of adequate rest or
calm. Many factors can increase the risk or tendency of someone suffering from
hypertension, including individual characteristics such as age, gender and
ethnicity, genetic factors and environmental factors such as coffee and smoking
habits. The content of caffeine in an excess coffee consumption able to cause a
negative impact on health, such as hypertension. Based on this background, the
writer is interested in doing a study of the overview of the knowledge and
behavior of the barista regarding hypertension. This study used a descriptive
analytical methods. The study was conducted in the Cileungsi regional coffee
shops, West Java in December 2018 ? January 2019. The population in this study
were all baristas, while the sample of this study were all baristas in the Cileungsi
regional coffee shop, West Java as many as 56 people. The results showed that
most of the barista, as many as 26 baristas (46.4%) were quite well informed
about the effects of caffeine on hypertension, 15 baristas (26.8%) were wellinformed
about the effects of caffeine on hypertension, and 15 baristas (26.8%)
were lacked about the impact of caffeine on hypertension. In addition most of the
barista, as many as 34 baristas (60.7%) behaved poorly about the impact of
caffeine on hypertension, 12 baristas (21.4%) behaved quite well about the effects
of caffeine on hypertension, and only 10 baristas (17.9%) behaved well about the
effects of caffeine on hypertension. It is recommended that baristas need to take
certain measures to prevent hypertension by regulating the coffee consumption to
control the level of hypertension..
