Abstract :
Orang tua menjadi pendidik pertama dan utama di tengah-tengah keluarga. tentu peran orang tua menjadi dasar anak untuk menentukan masa depannya. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran orang tua dalam mengajarkan PAK dan pemahaman Alkitab di SDN Bojong Rawalumbu IV Bakasi. Tujuan penelitian yaitu sebagai berikut. 1) Mendalami peran orang tua dalam mengajarkan PAK di keluarga pada siswa di SDN Bojong Rawalumbu IV Bekasi. 2) Untuk mengetahui apa saja tantangan orang tua dalam mengajarkan PAK pada siswa di SDN Bojong Rawalumbu IV Bekasi. Metode yang dilakukan penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Responden yang di teliti penulis diantaranya 4 orang tua, dan 7 perserta didik di SDN Bojong Rawalumbu IV. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) orang tua sudah memahami peran di tengah keluarga. Akan tetapi, orang tua belum menjalankan perannya sebagai pendidik dalam mengajarkan PAK dan pemahaman Alkitab di dalam keluarga. Orang tua hanya memberikan motivasi tanpa memberikan pemahaman yang baik. Selain itu, kemampuan akademik atau kompentensi yang dimiliki orang tua sangat minim. 2) Tantangan terbesar orang tua adalah keterbatasan ekonomi. Responden yang diteliti penulis memilki ekonomi menengah kebawah. Selain itu lingkungan sosial dan gawai termasuk menjadi tantangan orang tua dalam mendidik dan mengajar anak. lalu, akses nilai dari gereja juga sulit didapatkan oleh salah satu orang tua maka dengan ini orang tua kurang maksimal dalam mengatasi berbagai tantangan yang ada. Kata kunci: Peran Orang Tua, Tantantangan Orang Tua, PAK Dan Pemahaman Alkitab. / The Parents become the first and foremost educators in the midst of the family. The role of the parents is certainly the basis for children to determine their future. This study to examine the role of the parents in teaching PAK and understanding the Bible at SDN Bojong Rawalumbu IV Bakasi. The purpose of this study, there are: 1) Deepen on the role of the parents in teaching PAK in the family to students at SDN Bojong Rawalumbu IV Bekasi. 2) To know what are the challenges of the parents in teaching PAK to students at SDN Bojong Rawalumbu IV Bekasi. The study used a qualitative method with descriptive type to collect the data. The respondents in this study were 4 parents, and 7 students at SDN Bojong Rawalumbu IV. The results of this study were: 1) The parents already understand their role in the family. However, the parents have not carried out their role as educators in teaching PAK and understanding the Bible in the family. The parents only provide motivation without providing a good understanding. In addition, the parents' academic or competencies possessed are lacking. 2) The biggest challenge for the parents is economic limitations. The Respondents on this study were the parents have lower economy. In addition, the social environment and gadgets are a challenge for the parents in educating and teaching children. Also, difficult for one of the parents to access to values from the church. So with this parents are not optimal in overcoming the various challenges that esxit.
