Abstract :
Gaya komunikasi sebagai seperangkat perilaku antarpribadi yang terspesialisasi
yang dipakai pada kondisi tertentu. Persoalan terkait kinerja ialah beberapa pegawai
berkinerja kurang maksimal menunjukan bahwa pegawai tidak dapat
menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan. Persoalan terkait pimpinan ialah pimpinan
kurang memberikan instruksi kepada pegawai sehingga pegawai mendapatkan
kendala dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan karena kurangnya pemahaman.
Rumusan masalah penelitian ini ialah apakah The controlling style, The
equalitarian style, The structuring style, The dynamic style, The relinguishing style
dan The withdrawal style berpengaruh terhadap Tingkat kinerja pegawai di Biro
Hubungan Masyarakat Kementerian Pertahanan RI. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah
untuk mengetahui pengaruh The controlling style, The equalitarian style, The
structuring style, The dynamic style, The relinguishing style dan The withdrawal
style terhadap Tingkat kinerja pegawai di Biro Hubungan Masyarakat Kementerian
Pertahanan RI. Survei merupakan metode yang dipakai penelitian ini. Penelitian ini
memperlihatkan pengaruh The structuring style (X3) lebih besar dibanding variabel
X1, X2, X4, X5 dan X6 terhadap Tingkat kinerja pegawai di Biro Hubungan
Masyarakat Kementerian Pertahanan RI dibuktikan melalui uji korelasi memiliki
nilai Pearson Correlation sebesar 0,642 atau 64,2%. Teori Informasi Organisasi
yang dikemukakan Karl Weick yaitu bagaimana organisasi mengubah informasi
yang membingungkan jadi masuk akal. Jika informasi dan perintah yang diberikan
pimpinan bisa dimengerti oleh pegawai tentunya kinerja yang dihasilkan pegawai
akan lebih baik.
Kata kunci: Gaya Komunikasi, Pimpinan, Tingkat Kinerja Pegawai. / Communication style as a set of specialized interpersonal behavior that is used in
certain conditions. The problem related to performance is that some employees are
not performing optimally indicating that the employee cannot complete the
assigned task. The problem related to leadership is that the leadership does not give
instructions to employees so that employees experience problems in carrying out
the tasks given due to a lack of understanding. The formulation of the problem of
this research is whether The controlling style, The equalitarian style, The
structuring style, The dynamic style, The relinguishing style and The withdrawal
style affect the level of employee performance in the Bureau of Public Relations of
the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. The
purpose of this study was to determine the effect of The controlling style, The
equalitarian style, The structuring style, The dynamic style, The relinguishing style
and The withdrawal style on the level of employee performance at the Bureau of
Public Relations of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense of the
Republic of Indonesia. Survey is the method used in this research. This study shows
that the effect of The structuring style (X3) is greater than the variables X1, X2, X4,
X5 and X6 on the level of employee performance at the Bureau of Public Relations
of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia,
proven through a correlation test that has a Pearson Correlation value of 0.642 or
64.2 %. Organizational Information Theory put forward by Karl Weick, namely
how organizations turn confusing information into meaning. If the information and
orders given by the leadership can be understood by employees, of course the
performance produced by employees will be better.
