Abstract :
Teknologi merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat saat ini, karena semuanya saat ini menggunakan teknologi khusus nya pada kalangan mahasiswa untuk mempermudah berbagai aktivitas sehari-hari dan salah satu teknologi yang berkembang sangat pesat saat ini adalah teknologi komunikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat gambaran tingkat adiksi smartphone pada mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia angkatan 2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebanyak 85 mahasiswa mengalami adiksi smartphone dengan persentase 51,8%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah mayoritas responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki, mayoritas berusia 18 tahun dan mayoritas responden mengalami adiksi terhadap smartphone. Kata Kunci : Adiksi, Smartphone, Usia, Jenis Kelamin. / Technology is a very important part of people's lives today, because everything is currently using technology, especially among students to facilitate various daily activities and one of the technologies that is growing very rapidly today is communication technology. The purpose of this study was to see an overview of the level of smartphone addiction in students of the Faculty of Medicine, Christian University of Indonesia Batch 2022. This research is descriptive research. The results of this study showed that 85 students experienced smartphone addiction with a percentage of 51.8%. The conclusion of this study is that the majority of respondents are male, the majority are 18 years old and the majority of respondents experience smartphone addiction.
