Abstract :
Latar Belakang: Frozen shoulder merupakan kondisi yang menimbulkan rasa
nyeri sehingga menyebabkan keterbatasan pada bahu. Tingkat keparahan frozen
shoulder pun beragam mulai dari ringan, sedang dan tingkat yang parah tergantung
tingkat keterbatasan gerakan pada sendi- sendi bagian bahu, frozen shoulder ini
terjadi karena kerusakan jaringan kapsul sendi. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui
penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi dalam mengurangi nyeri, meningaktkan lingkup gerak
sendi, dan meningkatkan aktivitas fungsional dengan mengunakan intervensi
berupa MWD, Ultrasound, dan terapi latihan. Metode: Perancangan artikel ini
menggunakan studi kasus pada pasien di sebuah rumah sakit swasta. Pengumpulan
data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner Barthel Index dengan wawancara
tatap muka dan jugap engukuran Range Of Motion (ROM) menggunakan
goniometer, Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), dan Shoulder Pain and Disability
Index (SPADI). Hasil: Terapi y a n g d i l a k u k a n selama 4 kalis e c a r a
t i d a k r u t i n m e n g g u n a k a n : Micro wave diathermy ( MWD), ultrasound,
terapi latihan tidak memberikan perubahan keluhan. Kesimpulan: Diperlukan
terapi yang rutin untuk mendapatkan hasil yang diharapkan. / Background: Frozen shoulder is a condition that causes pain, causing limitations
in the shoulder. The severity of frozen shoulder also varies, ranging from mild,
moderate and severe depending on the degree of movement limitation in the joints
of the shoulder. Frozen shoulder occurs due to damage to the joint capsule tissue.
Objective: to determine the management of physiotherapy in reducing pain,
increasing range of motion of joints, and increasing functional activity by using
interventions in the form of MWD, Ultrasound, and exercise therapy. Methods:
The design of this article uses a case study of patients in a private hospital. Data
collection was carried out using the Barthel Index questionnaire with face-to-face
interviews and also measuring Range of Motion (ROM) using a goniometer,
Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), and Shoulder Pain and Disability Index
(SPADI) instruments. Results: The results of therapy for 4 times did not give
results because the patient did not routinely attend therapy both in the
hospital and at home exercise programs. Conclusion: Micro wave diathermy
( MWD), Ultrasound, Exercise therapy can reduce pain and increase range of
motion in Frozen Shoulder conditions and routine therapy is needed to get the
expected results.
