Abstract :
Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dengan munculnya new media telah mengubah kebebasan berekspresi seperti menampilkan konten ? konten yang diupload oleh para YouTubers, terutama Chris Monroe yang digemari oleh mahasiswa, di mana tayangan Chris Monroe secara tidak langsung membuat mahasiswa berperilaku ke arah yang negatif, seperti meniru pornografi dan mengikuti perilaku dari Chris Monroe. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perilaku penonton tayangan YouTube PrankInvasion terhadap perilaku mahasiswa. Teori yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah teori Bandura. Teori Bandura digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena mahasiswa belajar dari tayangan YouTube PrankInvasion. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan paradigma konstruktivisme. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku mahasiswa menjadi negatif karena ada mahasiswa yang meniru perilaku tayangan YouTube PrankInvasion misalnya, melakukan ciuman terhadap pacarnya. Tetapi ada juga perilaku mahasiswa yang positif yaitu, mahasiswa lebih percaya diri ketika ingin berkenalan dengan lawan jenis. Kata kunci : Perilaku, Konten YouTube Chris Monroe, PrankInvasion. / The rapid development of communication technology with the emergence of new media has changed the freedom of expression such as displaying content uploaded by YouTubers, especially Chris Monroe that is popular with students, where Chris Monroe shows indirectly make students behave in a negative direction, such as copying pornography and follow the behavior of Chris Monroe. The purpose of this study was to analyze the behavior of YouTube viewers PrankInvasion on student behavior. The theories used in this thesis are new media theory, communication technology theory, YouTube theory, student theory, behavior theory, and Bandura theory. Bandura theory is used in this study because students learn from YouTube shows PrankInvasion. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with constructivism paradigm. The results of this study indicate that student behavior becomes negative because there are students who imitate YouTube PrankInvasion shows, for example, kissing their girlfriends. But there are also positive student behaviors that is, students are more confident when they want to get acquainted with the opposite sex.
