Abstract :
Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi saat ini, berbagai kemudahan dan kecanggihan teknologi telah membantu penyebarluasan informasi. Instagram merupakan media internet yang sering digunakan masyarakat. Media sosial Instagram menjadi wadah bagi masyarakat untuk menuangkan kebebasan berekspresi, baik itu bentuk gambar ataupun pesan-pesan yang terkadang menyesatkan. Kebebasan berekspresi ini yang telah memunculkan berbagai macam pesan-pesan komunikasi di internet, seperti kehadiran meme. Meme Nurhadi-Aldo menjadi fenomena di tengah masyarakat. Banyak yang mendukung dengan kemunculan meme tersebut namun beberapa masyarakat juga menganggap kemunculan Nurhadi-Aldo dapat memengaruhi pemikiran masyarakat terhadap politik sehingga memunculkan perbedaan persepsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa dalam menanggapi isi meme satire politik Nurhadi-Aldo di media sosial Instagram di tengah suasana persaingan politik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini Mahasiswa tertarik dengan meme Nurhadi- Aldo karena pesan yang disampaikan menggunakan konsep dagelan dalam mengkritik politik saat ini. Konsep tersebut membuat masyarakat dan mahasiswa menjadi terhibur di tengah memanasnya politik saat ini. Gambar dan tulisannya pun menjadi daya tarik dari meme Nurhadi-Aldo, di mana mereka menggunakan kata-kata vulgar seperti Dildo yang merupakan nama singakatan mereka untuk mendatangkan ketertarikan masyarakat guna melihat postingan mereka. Kata kunci : Persepsi, Meme Nurhadi-Aldo, Instagram. / Along with the advancement of information and communication technology today, various facilities and sophistication of technology has helped the dissemination of information. Instagram is an internet media that is often used by the public. Instagram social media becomes a place for people to express their freedom of expression, whether it is in the form of images or sometimes misleading messages. This freedom of expression has led to various kinds of communication messages on the internet, such as the presence of memes. Nurhadi-Aldo Meme is a phenomenon in the community. Many people support the emergence of the meme, but some people also consider the emergence of Nurhadi-Aldo to influence people's thinking on politics so that it raises different perceptions. The purpose of this study was to determine student perceptions in responding to the contents of Nurhadi-Aldo's political satire meme on Instagram social media amid an atmosphere of political competition. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The results of this study Students were interested in the Nurhadi- Aldo meme because the message delivered uses the concept of slapstick in criticizing current politics. Because the concept is entertaining the community and students in the midst of the current political heat. His drawings and writings are also the main attraction of the Nurhadi-Aldo meme. Where they use vulgar words like Dildo which is their singular name to bring public interest to see their posts. Keywords: Perception, Meme Nurhadi-Aldo, Instagram.
