Abstract :
Objective : Proving the correlation between the incidence of fluor albus caused by
Gardnerella vaginalis with nutritional status in pregnant women.
Methods : This study is a correlational analytical study with cross sectional
approach.Vaginal discharge was taken from 83 pregnant women who performed ANC
at the Kramat Jati Health Center. After that the Gram Staining microbiology
examination is done to see the presence of Clue Cell.
Result : From the research, 35 (42.17%) samples were infected with gardnerella
vaginalis out of 83 samples. The most infected age group is at age 19-22 years
(27.08%), for the most infected parity group is Multipara status as much as (70.83%),
the most infected based on the gestation age is at Trimester II as much as (41,67%),
nutritional status of LILA> 23.5 (93.75%) and nutritional status of BMI in the normal
group (50%).Nutritional status as measured by MUAC and BMI has a significant
relationship with Gardnerlla vaginalis infection that occurs in pregnant women with a
p value of = 0 (p <0.1)
