Abstract :
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas tidur
dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di puskesmas wilayah
dalam kota Ende. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi korelasi dengan pendekatan cross
sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner Pittsburgh
Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Populasi penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang terdata
menderita diabetes melius tipe 2 di puskesmas wilayah dalam kota Ende. Sampel
penelitian ini berjumlah 167 orang dengan teknik cara proportionate stratified random
sampling. Hasilnya penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar responden memiliki kualitas
tidur buruk yaitu sebanyak 114 orang (68.3%). 62.9% diantaranya mengalami
hiperglikemia sedangkan 5.4% lainnya normal. Kemudian pada 53 orang (31.7%)
memiliki kualitas tidur baik, 22.8% diantaranya mengalami hiperglikemia sedangkan
9.0% lainnya normal. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas tidur dengan kadar
gula darah pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di puskesmas wilayah dalam kota

Kata Kunci: Kualitas tidur, Kadar gula darah, Diabetes melitus tipe 2. / The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and
blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in regional health centers
in the city of Ende. This type of research is a correlation study with cross sectional
approach. Data collection was performed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index
(PSQI) questionnaire. The population of this study is the people who are recorded as
suffering from type 2 diabetes melius in the regional health centers in the city of Ende.
The sample of this research is 167 people using proportionate stratified random
sampling technique. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents
had poor sleep quality were 114 people (68.3%). 62.9% of them had hyperglycemia
while 5.4% were normal. Then in 53 people (31.7%) had good sleep quality, 22.8% of
them had hyperglycemia while the other 9.0% were normal. There is a significant
relationship between sleep quality and blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes
mellitus in regional health centers in the city of Ende. (P = 0,000) ? (? = 0.01).
