Abstract :
Hemoglobin (Hb) merupakan senyawa protein dalam sel darah merah yang membawa
oksigen (O2) dan dapat diukur. Kadar hemoglobin dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa
factor seperti: usia, jenis kelamin, penyakit tertentu dan asupan nutrisi. Menurunnya
kadar Hb dapat menyebabkan anemia. Anemia dapat menyebabkan terganggunya
tumbuh kembang dan konsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Tujuan
penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara asupan protein dan zat besi
dengan kadar hemoglobin pada mahasiswa FK UKI Angkatan 2019 tahun 2019.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian analitik deskriptif dengan pendekatan
cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan cara purpose
sampling yang sesuai berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Data dikumpulkan
melalui kuesioner food recall lalu dianalisis menggunakan software nutrisurvey lalu
dibandingkan dengan AKG dan pengukuran kadar hemoglobin menggunakan metode
fotometer, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji spearman rank. Sebesar 66.7% angka
kecukupan protein kurang dan 66.7% kecukupan protein cukup. Sebesar 21.7% angka
kecukupan zat besi kurang dan 78.3% angka kecukupan zat besi cukup. Simpulan:
Tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan protein dengan kadar hemoglobin (r = 0,082
dan p=0,535). Didapatkan hubungan yang antara zat besi dengan kadar hemoglobin (r
= 0,631 dan p=0,000)
Kata Kunci : Hemoglobin, Asupan Protein, Asupan Zat Besi. / Hemoglobin (Hb) is a protein compound in red blood cells that carries oxygen (O2)
and can be measured. Hemoglobin levels can be influenced by several factors such as:
age, gender, certain diseases and nutritional intake. Decreased levels of Hb can cause
anemia. Anemia can cause disruption of growth and development and concentration.
This study aims to see the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between
protein and iron intake and hemoglobin levels in 2019 class year 2019 UKI FK
students. This study used a descriptive analytical research design with a cross sectional
approach. Sampling was determined using an appropriate purpose sampling method
based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected through a food recall
questionnaire and then analyzed using nutritional survey software, then compared with
the nutritional adequacy rate and measuring hemoglobin levels using the photometer
method, then analyzed using the Spearman rank test. As much as 66.7% protein
adequacy rate is lacking and 66.7% protein adequacy rate is sufficient. As much as
21.7% of the adequacy rate of iron was deficient and 78.3% the number of iron
sufficiency was sufficient. Conclusion: There is no relationship between protein intake
and hemoglobin levels (r = 0.082 and p = 0.535). There was a correlation between iron
and hemoglobin levels (r = 0.631 and p = 0.000)
