Abstract :
Latar Belakang: Nyeri merupakan sensasi tidak menyenangkan yang terlokalisir pada
bagian tubuh sebagai akibat dari adanya proses penetrasi atau rusaknya jaringan dan
atau reaksi tubuh atau emosional. Setiap orang pasti pernah merasakan nyeri baik yang
intensitas ringan hingga intensitas berat yang mengganggu aktivitas. Dalam
penanganannya, biasanya penggunaan obat anti nyeri merupakan alternatif terbaik
untuk mengurangi rasa nyeri yang dirasakan, seperti obat golongan non-opioid dan
opioid. Akan tetapi, untuk pemilihan dan penggunannya harus dipertimbangkan
berdasarkan penilaian risiko, efek samping, serta manfaat yang menunjukkan bahwa
manfaat obat anti nyeri lebih besar daripada risikonya atau efek sampingnya. Oleh
karena itu, mulai dikembangkan pengobatan secara non farmakologi yang salah
satunya adalah musik.
Tujuan: Mengetahui apakah musik klasik ?Mozart Piano Symphony No.40 in G
Minor, K 550 ? II Andante? dapat meningkatkan waktu toleransi nyeri.
Metode: Menggunakan metode eksperimental kuasi dengan desain pre test dan post
test dilakukan terhadap 30 orang laki-laki berusia 18-25 tahun. Subjek penelitian
diminta mendengarkan musik klasik ?Mozart Piano Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K
550 ? II Andante? sambil merendam tangan di air es dengan suhu 5?C selama subjek
penelitian mampu menahan rasa nyeri dan akan dibandingkan dengan lamanya subjek
penelitian, mampu menahan rasa nyeri sebelum mendengarkan musik klasik ?Mozart
Piano Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 ? II Andante?. Data yang diukur adalah
waktu toleransi nyeri sebelum dan selama mendengarkan musik klasik ?Mozart Piano
Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 ? II Andante?. Analisis data menggunakan uji ?t?
berpasangan dengan ? = 0,05.
Hasil: Rerata waktu toleransi nyeri selama mendengarkan musik klasik ?Mozart Piano
Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 ? II Andante? adalah sebesar 67,01 (SD ±
28.53887), Lebih besar daripada sebelum mendengarkan musik klasik ?Mozart Piano
Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 ? II Andante? sebesar 36,45 (SD ± 19.54195),
(p<0,01).
Kesimpulan: Musik Klasik ?Mozart Piano Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 ? II
Andante? meningkatkan waktu toleransi nyeri pada laki-laki dewasa muda.

toleransi nyeri. / Background: Pain is an unpleasant sensation that is localized to a part of the body as
a result of the penetration or tissue damage process and body or emotional reactions.
Everyone must have felt pain, both mild to severe intensity that interferes with activities.
In handling, usually using anti-pain medication is the best alternative to reduce the
pain you feel. Various classes of drugs, including non-opioids and opioids. However,
selection and use that should be considered based on an assessment of risks, side
effects, and benefits which?s show that the benefits of pain medications outweigh the
risks or side effects. Therefore, a non-pharmacological treatment has begun to be
developed, one of them is music.
Objectives: determine the effect of classical music ?mozart piano symphony No. 40 in
G minor, K-550 ? II Andante? in increasing pain-tolerance time.
Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental experiment with pre-test and post-test
design performed on thirty male aged eighteen to twenty five years old. The subjects
were requested to listen to classical music "Mozart Piano Symphony No.40 in G Minor,
K 550 - II Andante" while immersing their hands in ice water with a temperature of
5?C as long as the subjects were able to withstand pain and would be compared with
the length of time the subjects were able to endure pain before listening to classical
music "Mozart Piano Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 - II Andante". The data
measured is the time of pain tolerance before and during listening to classical music
"Mozart Piano Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 - II Andante". Analysis of data was
performed with paired ?T? test with ? = 0.05.
Result: The average pain-tolerance time after listen to classical music "Mozart Piano
Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 - II Andante" was 67,01 (SD ± 28.53887), more
than before listen to classical music "Mozart Piano Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K
550 - II Andante" 36,45 (SD ± 19.54195), (p<0,01).
Conclusion: Classical Music "Mozart Piano Symphony No.40 in G Minor, K 550 - II
Andante" increased pain-tolerance time in adult male.
