Abstract :
Mahasiswa sebelum memilih karier sering kali dihadapkan dengan berbagai kebingungan. Tak jarang banyak mahasiswa yang sudah memilih jurusan merasa tidak cocok dengan dirinya. Salah satu yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut adalah kurangnya informasi karier sebelum pemilihan karier. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peran layanan informasi terhadap pemilihan karier mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Dalam pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan skala informasi karier dan skala pemilihan karier. Adapun responden penelitian ini adalah 102 mahasiswa FKIP UKI. Berdasarkan hasil instrumen terlihat bahwa ada korelasi sedang antara layanan informasi karier dengan pemilihan karier dan layanan informasi karier berperan positif. Hasil tersebut didapat dari uji hipotesis product moment Pearson sebesar 0,518 dan hasil analisis regresi sederhana sebesar 0,000. Adapun persentasenya pengaruhnya sebesar 26,8%. Meanwhile many of college student that has already chosen the majors still feel unsuitable with their self. One of the influences is lack of career information before choosing career. The aims of this research are to determine there is a role between career information service with career choices at Faculty of Education and Teacher Training Program, Universitas Kristen Indonesia. This is a quantitative research with correlational method. Data collection that used in this research are information career scale and career choice scale. There are 102 respondent and the result are there is a positive average correlation between career information service with career choice. The result is obtained from product moment Pearson test in the amount of 0,518 and from simple regression analysis in the amount of 0,000 and the percentage of the influence is 26,8%.
