Abstract :
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Studi Kasus mengenai faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan keberhasilan seorang mucikari di kawasan Jakarta Timur meninggalkan dunia prostitusi. Tidak banyak seseorang yang menjadi mucikari memilih berhenti meninggalkan dunia prostitusi, hal ini yang membuat penulis melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui terkait faktor apa yang melatar belakangi keberhasilan mucikari meninggakan dunia prostitusi. Metode yang diambil dalam penelitian ini dengan cara melakukan wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan 2 faktor yang mempengaruhi seseorang menjadi mucikari yaitu, faktor pertama ialah keluarga yang memiliki usaha tepat hiburan malam dan orangtua yang meminta subjek untuk meneruskan usaha orangtuanya di dunia malam, serta faktor kedua adalah lingkungan subjek yang kebanyakan bekerja di dunia malam. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang menjadi keberhasilan mucikari meninggalkan dunia prostitusi dari hasil penelitian ini diapatkan 2 faktor, faktor pertama yaitu faktor rohani yang titik baliknya terjadi pada saat subjek menjalani hukuman penjara kasus narkoba, pada saat itu subjek merasa harus bertobat dan lebih mendekatkan diri dengan Tuhan serta faktor kedua ialah keluarga atau orang terdekat, permintaan anak subjek yang meminta subjek meninggalkan dunia malam sebelum dirinya meninggal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat dua faktor yang mempengaruhi subjek meninggalkan dunia prostitusi yaitu, faktor keluarga dan lingkungan yang menyebabkan subjek menjadi seorang mucikari, serta terdapat dua faktor yang menjadi keberhasilan mucikari meninggalkan dunia prostitusi yaitu faktor rohani dan keluarga atau dukungan orang terdekat. Kata kunci : Mucikari, Prostitusi. / This research is a case study research on the factors that led to the success of a pimp in East Jakarta in leaving the world of prostitution. Not many people who become pimps choose to stop leaving the world of prostitution, this is what makes the author conduct research aimed at finding out what factors are behind the success of pimps in leaving the world of prostitution. The method taken in this study by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. From the results of the study, there are 2 factors that influence a person to become a pimp, namely, the first factor is the family who has the right night entertainment business and parents who ask the subject to continue their parents' business in the night world, and the second factor is the subject's environment who mostly works in the night world. Whereas the factors that became the success of pimps in leaving the world of prostitution from the results of this study were 2 factors, the first factor was spiritual factors, the turning point occurred when the subject was serving a prison sentence for a drug case, at that time the subject felt he had to repent and get closer to God. and the second factor is the family or the closest person, the subject's child request who asks the subject to leave the world the night before he dies. The conclusion from this study is that there are two factors that influence the subject to leave the world of prostitution, namely, family and environmental factors that cause the subject to become a pimp, and there are two factors that become the success of pimps in leaving the world of prostitution, namely spiritual factors and family or the support of the closest person.
