Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata
di SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bekasi, menjelaskan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa, dan
mendeskripsikan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa melalui program Adiwiyata.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang dilaksanakan di
SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bekasi sebagai sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional mulai tahun 2023
sampai empat tahun ke depan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah
purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 80 siswa. Pengumpulan data
dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 11 Kota
Bekasi sudah efektif dengan mematuhi seluruh 16 elemen yang tercantum dalam
pedoman Adiwiyata. Sikap peduli lingkungan siswa termasuk dalam kategori
sangat baik dengan persentase 80,11% berdasarkan hasil dari lima indikator yaitu,
memelihara kebersihan & kelestarian lingkungan sekolah, memelihara kebersihan
kelas, pengelolaan sampah, penghijauan dan penghematan energi.

This study aimed to determine the implementation of the Adiwiyata program
at SMP Negeri 11 Bekasi City, to explain students' environmental awareness, and
to describe students' environmental awareness through the influence of the
Adiwiyata program. This study used was descriptive qualitative approach, which is
implemented at SMP Negeri 11 Bekasi City as a National Adiwiyata school from
2023 to the next four years. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling,
with sample size of 80 student?s. Data collection was carried out through
interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the
study indicated that the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri
11 Bekasi City has been effective, by complied with all 16 elements listed in the
Adiwiyata guidelines. In addition, students' environmental awareness was assessed
as very good with 80.11% based on five indicators, namely maintained cleanliness
& sustainability of the school environment, maintained classroom cleanliness,
waste management, greening and energy saved.
