Abstract :
The title of this Skripsi is The Translation Analysis of Idiomatic Expression in The Subtitle of The movie Spectre. This research is focusing on the meaning of idiomatic translation. Furthermore, this research also analyzes concerning several types of idiomatic expressions. The source data are the subtitles which contain idiomatic expressions. The researcher applied the theory of strategies in translating idioms by Nida and Taber and also Newmark. In order to classify types of idioms the researcher applied the theory of Mc Carthy and O?Dell. The purpose of this research is to find how the procces of translating idioms. This research is recomended in finding informations about idiomatic expressions and its translation meaning. Idiomatic expression is important these days and used in a lot of purposes. In conclusion, this research hopefully can serve a benefiticial data or informations to become benefits for any purposes of idiomatic expressions. Key words : Idiomatic expression, meaning, translation.
