Abstract :
The research was to determine the relationship between the Pastor?s leadership
and the performance of Sunday school teachers, the relationship between the
motivation of Sunday school teachers with the performance of Sunday school
teachers and to identify the relationship between the pastor?s leadership and the
teacher?s motivation together with the performance of Sunday school teachers in
HKBP Pejuang Church, Bekasi. This research was conducted in the HKBP
Pejuang church, Bekasi, West Java. The hypotheses tested were: 1) The
relationship between the Pastor?s leadership and the performance of Sunday
school teachers in the HKBP Pejuang church. 2) The relationship between Sunday
school teacher?s motivation and the performance of Sunday school teachers in
HKBP Pejuang Bekasi church, 3) The relationship between the pastor?s leadership
and the motivation of Sunday school teachers together with the performance of
Sunday school teachers in HKBP Pejuang Church, Bekasi. The total population
was 30 respondents, namely the whole Sunday school teachers in HKBP Pejuang,
Bekasi. The instrument used to obtain variable data was a questionnaire with a
Likert Scale. The test results of the analysis between the pastor?s leadership and
the performance of Sunday school teachers obtained the Sig. 0.013 (<0.05), the
correlation coefficient value was 0.449 and the coefficient of determination was
20.2%, which means that there was an adequate relationship, a significant and
positive influence between the pastor?s leadership and teacher?s performance.
Furthermore, the results of the analysis tested on the relationship between the
teacher?s motivation and the teacher?s performance obtained the Sig. 0.012
(<0.05), the correlation coefficient value was 0.452 and the coefficient of
determination was 20.5%, which means that there was a sufficient relationship, a
positive and significant influence between the teacher?s motivation and the
teacher?s performance. Meanwhile, the analysis?s result to see the relationship
between the leadership of the pastor and the motivation of the teacher together on
the performance of the teacher obtained the value of Sig. 0.002 (<0.05), the
correlation coefficient of 0.600 and the coefficient of determination 31.3%, which
means there was a strong relationship, a positive and significant influence
between the leadership of the pastor and the motivation of the teacher together on
the performance of the teacher. Therefore, this condition shows that the pastor's
leadership and the teacher's motivation are very important to improve the
performance of the Sunday school teacher in HKBP Pejuang, Bekasi.
