Abstract :
This research stems from researchers' interest in Instagram being the place for photography. Instagram is a social media where users can upload their activities so that others can see them like uploading photos. Instagram can make its users become famous, so Instagram gives birth to celebrities or celebrities. Attractive program uploads make many people see and follow so that they make themselves famous on their Instagram. So researchers are interested in researching the existence of celebrities through Instagram. The purpose of this study was to find out how the front stage and the back stage of the celebrity especially in the use of Instagram. Researchers use descriptive methods where researchers can form values, habits that direct the behavior of Instagram users. The technique of taking informants in this study is with purpose sampling, namely sampling techniques with certain considerations. Data collection methods used are observation and interview. The theory used in this study is Erving Goffman's Dramaturgy Theory. The results of this study that the existence of Selebgram displayed on the front stage is a profession demand in their work. What they show in front, is not always as shown behind. Their goal is to do this, so that they get attention and are known for what their talents are. Researchers suggest that the program prioritizes or more shows the creativity side than compensation to gain fame. Researchers suggest as a public figure so that they can maintain the moral values that become Indonesian culture. Keywords: Existence, Selebgram, Instagram
