Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim sekolah dan
kompetensi pedagogik terhadap efektivitas Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bhakti I.
Jenis penelitian yang dignakan adalah penelitian korelasional, dengan
menggunakan regresi ganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 24 guru yang
mengajar di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bhakti I, dengan menggunakan teknik
kuota.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh iklim sekolah
terhadap efektivitas sekolah sebesar 0,982 dengan koefisen determinasi sebesar
81,9%. Besarnya pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik terhadap efektivitas sekolah
sebesar 0,938 dengan koefisen determinasi sebesar 86,5%. Serta terdapat
pengaruh antara iklim sekolah, dan kompetensi pedagogik secara bersama-sama
terhadap efektivitas sekolah. Pola persamaan tersebut digambarkan dalam
persamaan Y = - 0,065 + 0,421X1 + 0.595X2. Koefisien determinasi yang
diperoleh sebesar 90%, artinya iklim sekolah dan kompetensi pedagogik bisa
menjelaskan efektivitas secara bersama-sama sebesar 90% dan selebihnya dapat
dijelaskan dengan variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini.
Upaya untuk meningkatkan efektivitas sekolah adalah sekolah harus
menjalin kerjasama atau net working dengan pihak?pihak lain, memperhatikan
keberhasilan akademik dan non akademik peserta didik, kepala sekolah juga harus
melakukan pengawasan secara kontinyu saat guru-guru menjalankan tugasnya,
menciptakan hubungan yang baik antara guru dengan guru, guru mampu
mengidentifikasikan kesulitan belajar anak, dan memberikan kesempatan bagi
para peserta didik untuk mengembangkan potensinya.

pedagogic competency towards the effectiveness of Bhakti I Vocational High
School. The type of study used shall be corelational study by using double
regression analysis tools. The sample of this study consists of 24 teachers teaching
at Bhakti I Vocational High School using quota technique.
The result of the study shows that there is an influence climate towards
school effectiveness is 0,982 with determination coeficient obtained as much as
81,9%. Influence pedagogic competency towards school effectiveness is 0,938
with determination coeficientobtained as much as 86,5%.The result of the study
shows that there is an influence betweenschool climate and pedagogic
competency simultenously towards school effectiveness. The pattern of similarity
is figured in equation Y = - 0,065 + 0,421X1 + 0.595X2 determination coeficient
obtained as much as 90% which means that the school climate and pedagogic
competency can explain jointly as much as 90% and the more of it can be
explained by other variables that cannot be described in this study.
The effort in order to improve the school effectiveness shall be that the
school has to establish cooperation or net working with other parties, paying
attention to academic and non academic achievements of the students, beside the
school principal also has to conduct supervision continously when the teachers are
performing their duties, creating good relationship among teachers, the teachers
must be able to identify the learning difficulties of children, as well as providing
opportunity for students to develop their potentials.
