Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh supervisi
akademik terhadap sikap guru, (2) pengaruh supervisi akademik dan sikap
guru secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi kerja guru, (3) pengaruh
supervisi akademik terhadap motivasi kerja guru.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuatitatif dan mengambil
bentuk penelitian survei sebagai desain penelitiannya. Populasi dalam
penelitian ini adalah guru-guru SMPN se-Kecamatan Johar Baru, Jakarta
Pusat, yang berjumlah 136 orang. 58 dari 136 guru diambil sebagai sample
penelitian melalui pengambilan sampel acak berstrata. Penentuan banyaknya
jumlah sampel yang diambil berdasarkan rumus Slovin dengan toleransi
tingkat galat 10% (0,1). Angket digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengumpulkan
data dalam penelitian ini. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisa
menggunakan analisa jalur.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh
positif dan signifikan kegiatan supervisi akademik terhadap sikap guru
mengenai perilaku supervisi kepala sekolah, (2) secara bersama-sama
terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kegiatan supervisi akademik dan
sikap guru mengenai perilaku supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi
kerja guru, (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kegiatan supervisi
akademik terhadap motivasi kerja guru.

/The objectives of this study are to find out: (1) the significance of
instructional supervision towards teachers attitude, (2) the significance of
instructional supervision and teachers attitude toward teachers work
motivation simultaneously, (3) the significance of instructional supervision
towards teachers work motivation.
This research took quatitative method as its approach and survey
research as its research design. The population of this research are 136
teachers from public secondary schools in Johar Baru subdistrict of Central
Jakarta. 58 out of 136 teachers were selected to become samples of this
research through proportionate stratified random sampling method. The
amount of the samples was decided based on Slovin formula with its error
toleration level 10% (0,1). Questionnaire was deployed to respondents as a
form of research instrument in order to gather required data. The data that has
been received then analyzed by using path analysis.
The result of this study shows: (1) there is a positive and significant
influence of instructional supervision activities towards teachers attitude
related to principal supervision behaviors, (2) simultaneously there is a
positive and significant influence of instructional supervision activities and
teachers attitude related to principal supervision behaviors toward teachers
work motivation, (3) there is a positive and significant influence of instructional
supervision activities towards teachers work motivation.
