Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kompetensi manajerial kepala
sekolah dan iklim sekolah dengan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di delapan sekolah
dasar swasta kecamatan Penjaringan Jakarta Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei
dengan teknik korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 108 guru.
Data diperoleh melalui instrument kuisioner. Validitas butir instrumen menggunakan rumus
korelasi Pearson Product Moment, sedangkan uji reliabilitas dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach.
Persyaratan analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov, uji
homogenitas dan uji linieritas. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi dan regresi.
Hasil penelitian: Pertama, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi
manajerial kepala sekolah (X1) dengan kinerja guru (Y). Diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar
0,687 dan persamaan regresi ? = 32,144 + 0,617X1. Kedua, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan
signifikan antara iklim sekolah (X2) dengan kinerja guru (Y) serta diperoleh koefisien korelasi
sebesar 0,463 berarti memiliki korelasi positif dan cukup kuat dan persamaan regresi ? = 44.960
+ 0,487X2. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi manajerial
kepala sekolah (X1) dan iklim sekolah (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru (Y).
Diperoleh koefisien korelasi ganda (ry12) sebesar 0,703 yang berarti korelasi positif dan kuat dan
persamaan regresi ? = 25,138 + 0,544X1 + 0,176X2.

/This study aims to determine the relationship between principals' managerial competencies
and school climate with teacher performance. This research was conducted in eight private
elementary schools in Penjaringan, North Jakarta. The method used survey method with
correlational techniques. The amount of sample in this study was 108 teachers. Data obtained
through questionnaire instruments. The validity of the instrument used Pearson Product Moment
formula and the reliability test used Cronbach Alpha formula. The requirements for data analysis
performed were the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, homogeneity test and linearity test. Data
analysis used correlation and regression.
Results: First, there was a positive and significant relationship between principals'
managerial competencies (X1) and teacher performance (Y). Correlation coefficient was 0.687
and regression equation was ? = 32.144 + 0.617X1. Second, there was a positive and significant
relationship between school climate (X2) and teacher performance (Y). It was obtained by the
correlation coefficient of 0.463. It meant the correlation was positive and quite strong and the
regression equation ? = 44.960 + 0.487X2. Third, there was a positive and significant relationship
between principals' managerial competencies (X1) and school climate (X2) together with teacher
performance (Y). It was obtained through multiple correlation coefficient (ry12) is 0.703 which
means positive and strong correlation and regression equation = 25.138 + 0.544X1 + 0.176X2.
