Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan Motivasi Kerja (X1)
dan Kompensasi Kerja (X2) dengan Peningkatan Disiplin Kerja Guru (Y) di
Yayasan Pendidikan Saint Peter Kelapa Gading. Penelitian dilakukan pada Mei-
Juni 2019. Pengambilan data primer menggunakan instrumen angket dengan 5
skala Likert. Populasi Penelitian adalah 76 orang yang merupakan gabungan dari
guru TK, SD, SMP dan SMU. Sejumlah 60 orang dari 76 guru adalah sampel
penelitian yang dipilih secara acak.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik
korelasional. Uji coba dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas menggunakan rumus
korelasi Product Moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan test Alpha Cronbach.
Selanjutnya dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis yakni dengan uji normalitas dan uji
linearitas regresi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi sederhana,
korelasi berganda, serta teknik regresi yang terdiri dari regresi linier dan berganda.
Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1). Terdapat hubungan yang
positif dan signifikan antara Motivasi Kerja dengan Peningkatan Disiplin Kerja
sebesar 45.4%. (2). Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara Kompensasi
Kerja dan Disiplin Kerja sebesar 47.7%. (3). Terdapat hubungan positif dan
signifikan secara bersama-sama antara Motivasi Kerja dan Kompensasi Kerja
dengan Peningkatan Disiplin Kerja sebesar 77.3% di Yayasan Pendidikan Saint
Peter Kelapa Gading. Karena itu Yayasan Pendidikan Saint Peter perlu
menciptakan lingkungan yang menyenangkan, aman, serta memperbaiki
kompensasi bagi guru.

and Compensation with Working Discipline Improvement at Saint Peter?s
Educational Foundation Kelapa Gading. The research was done in May ? June
2019. The primary data used questionnaires with Likert scale, 5 alternative
answers. The population on this research was 76 people and 60 people of all
teachers at Saint Peter?s Educational Foundation as the selected unit of analysis.
They were selected at random. This research was done by applying survey method
and correlation technique. The treatment research had been analyzed by the test
validity using Pearson Product Moment correlation and the test realibility was
calculated by using the formula of Alpha Cronbach. The analytical requirement
were normality test, and regression linearity test. The hypothesis test used simple
correlation test, double correlation and regression linier and double regression.
The results of data analysis indicated that: (1) There was a positive and
significant correlation between Motivation and Working Discipline Improvement
with correlation coefficient of 0,674 and determination coefficient of 0,454. It
means that 45,40% variance explained that Work Discipline variables described /
defined by the variable of Motivation. (2) There was a positive and significant
relationship between Compensation and Working Discipline Improvement, with
correlation coefficient of 0,691, while R2 (coefficient of determination) of 0,477.
It means that 47.70% variance explained that Work Discipline variables described
/ defined by the variable of Compensation. (3) Then there was a positive and
signifficant relationship shared between Motivation and Compensation with
Working Discipline Improvement, as indicated by R2 (coefficient determination
of 0, 773. This means that 77.30% variance explained that Work Discipline
variables described / defined by variables of Motivation and Compensation.
From the description data abovecan be concluded that there is a positive and
significant relationship shared between Motivation and Compensation with
Working Discipline Improvement at Saint Peter?s Educational Foundation Kelapa
Gading Jakarta.
