Abstract :
Metode maintenance yang dilakukan oleh PT.FREEPORT INDONESIA terhadap Frame Conveyor GRS 71 Selama ini lebih kepada metode Breakdown Maintenance dan Preventive maintenance. Setelah sekian lama menggunakan metode tersebut maka pihak konsultan PT. FREEPORT INDONESIA melihat bahwa metode ini masih belum efektif dan efisien. Diputuskan untuk meningkatkan kualitas maintenance dengan menggunakan RBI untuk diterapkan pada structural frame conveyor GRS 71. Metode RBI ini yang digunakan pada tugas akhir ini adalah memodifikasi nilai COF (Consequenci Of Failure) pada API 581 menjadi nilai seberapa penting dan besarnya ukuran beam tersebut. Dan nilai PoF (Probability of Failure) pada API 581 menjadi Laju korosi yang terjadi pada bagian-bagian frame conveyor GRS 71./ The maintenance method used by PT.FREEPORT INDONESIA on the GRS 71 Frame Conveyor so far is more about the Breakdown Maintenance and Preventive maintenance methods. After using this method for a long time, the consultant PT. FREEPORT INDONESIA sees that this method is still not effective and efficient. Decided to improve the quality of maintenance by using RBI to apply to the GRS 71 structural frame conveyor. The RBI method used in this final project is to modify the COF (Consequency Of Failure) value on API 581 to how important and how big the beam size is. And the PoF (Probability of Failure) value on API 581 becomes the corrosion rate that occurs in parts of the GRS 71 conveyor frame.
