Abstract :
Luisye Sia, S.Th., ? Keterlibatan Gereja Kristen Indonesia Pondok Indah dalam Mengatasi Kemiskinan Orang Kristen di kalangan Masyarakat Cina Benteng Bogor. Tesis Magister Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Pascasarjana Universitas Kristen Indonesia, Jakarta 2020. Kemiskinan adalah keadaan tidak berharta, serba kekurangan sehingga tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dasar (sandang, pangan dan papan, kesehatan dan pendidikan). Dalam upaya mengatasi kemiskinan ada 3 aspek kemiskinan yang perlu mendapat fokus perhatian yaitu aspek kemiskinan absolut, kemiskinan struktural dan kemiskinan kultural. Kemiskinan dalam bentuk apapun tidak dikendaki olah Tuhan karena merendahkan martabat manusia sebagai makhota ciptaan Tuhan. Kehadiran gereja di tengah dunia melaksanakan pembebasan bagi orang tertindas, miskin dan menderita seperti dilakukan oleh Yesus dalam pelayanan-pelayanan tentang kehadiran Kerajaan Sorga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti kemiskinan orang Kristen komunitas Cina Benteng di desa Kemang Bogor dan keterlibatan gereja melalui program-program untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di dalam persekutuan jemaat Gereja Kristen Indonesia Pondok Indah Bapos Desa Kemang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan Gereja Kristen Indonesia Pondok Indah selama kurun waktu 22 tahun telah membantu jemaat keluar dari kemiskinan kultural melalui program Mateto For Mom (MFM), GOTA (Gerakan Orang Tua Asuh) dalam meningkatkan pendidikan formal dan Ekonomi Kreatif Jemaat (EKJ) meningkatkan taraf pendapat jemaat. Program-program tersebut telah memberi sumbangsih dalam peningkatan taraf hidup jemaat. In the effort to overcome the poverty; there are 3 (three) aspects of poverty which shall require attention and focus, namely Absolute Poverty Aspect, Structural Poverty, and Cultural Poverty. Any form of poverty is not desired by God since it will humiliate human dignity as the Crown of God?s creation. The presence of church in the world as to carry out deliverance to the oppressed, poor and underserving people as Jesus has done in his service in terms of the presence of the Kingdom of Heaven. This research aims to examine the poverty against Christians in the area of Chinese Benteng Community at Kemang Village, Bogor and the church involvement through the programs in the purpose to overcome the poverty occurred. In this thesis, the method used is descriptive along with qualitative approach. It is held in the congregational fellowship at Gereja Kristen Indonesia Pondok Indah Bapos of Kemang Village. The outcome of research is to show the involvement of Gereja Kristen Indonesia Pondok Indah over a period of 22 years helping the people concerned to step outside from Cultural Poverty through the programs of Mateto for Mom (MFM), Movements for Foster Parents (GOTA) to enhance formal education and Creative Economy of the Congregation (EKJ) to improve the people?s income.
