Abstract :
Concrete is defined as a mixture of constituent materials consisting of hydraulic cement (portland cement), coarse aggregate (split), fine aggregate (sand), and water with or without using additives (admixture or additive) to form a solid mass (SNI, 2002). Concrete with fc'-30 MPa quality is a minimum concrete compressive strength of 30 MPa at 28 days of concrete which is determined by the structural planner (specimen cylinder diameter 15 cm and height 30 cm) based on SNI 03-2847-2002 standard. Sika Fume is an additive produced from the by-product of silicon metal fusion (smelting). Sika Fume is used as a highly effective additive to produce high quality concrete according to ASTM 1240-00 standards. Sika Fume is used to increase the density, durability and compressive strength of concrete. In concrete mixtures, fine Sika Fume particles that are 0.1 millimicro finer than cement grains will fill in the gaps in the mixture so that the air voids are reduced and the mixture is denser. Based on the results of tests carried out in the laboratory with variations in the addition of 5%, 5.5% and 6% Sika Fume by weight of cement, where for each variation consisting of 3 specimens with a total of 36 specimens, the highest compressive strength value is obtained. in the concrete mixture with the addition of 5% Sika Fume which has the highest compressive strength value of 33.97 MPa at the age of 28 days. It can be concluded that the addition of Sika Fume can increase the compressive strength of concrete
