Abstract :
ABSTRACT The need for clean water in Raja Barat Village is experiencing a shortage of clean water supply due to the increasing population and the Lematang River which is currently polluted by industrial waste. Raja Barat Village has experienced an increase in population growth every year so that the need for clean water increases. To overcome the shortage of clean water needs in Raja Village with the increasing population every year, which is currently only 8 hours of production hours. Therefore, the Tanah Abang Unit PDAM must increase the number of production hours for 4 hours / day, from previously only 8 hours to 12 hours per day. And technical and non-technical leaks should be kept to a minimum so that water is not wasted. The results of the calculation for 2019 to 2028 have a population of 4452 people with domestic and non-domestic water needs of 55.72 liters / second. From the amount of water demand, the reservoir capacity for PDAM Tanah Abang Unit in 2028 will be 670,004 Liters / second. Key words: population growth, need for clean water, reservoir capacity.
