Abstract :
Traffic congestion is a condition where the traffic of a road experiences a queue of vehicles passing through the road which results in a volume below the road capacity that cannot accommodate vehicles. General traffic jams and private vehicles every year. Traffic conditions have become a problem for road users, especially on Yos Sudarso Road, the intersection of the Lemabang Market in Palembang City. The congestion is predominantly dominated by high side barriers on each shoulder. Traffic congestion on Yos Sudarso road is in the morning with a service level "F", with conditions: the current is not stable, the volume of the vehicle is not suitable for urban roads, but because of the high value of side barriers which> 900 is the main factor of the cause of congestion itself.
