Abstract :
This thesis focuses on an experimental study of the bearing capacity of
Concrete pile Group foundation used in the construction of Keperawatan Gigi is
Building Politeknik Kesehatan Palembang, given that this type of foundation is
capable of supporting a considerable load. To find out the efficiency of bearing
capacity of Concrete Pile foundation is calculated based on N-SPT data using Vesic
(1977) method and Vesic method (in allpile software).
The research was conducted at point PC-9A at Keperawatan Gigi is
Building Politeknik Kesehatan Palembang using diameter variation of Ø30, Ø40,
Ø50, Ø60, 35 x 35, 40 x 40, and 45 x 45 at depth 11,12,13,14,15,16 meter with
fixed concrete quality which is K-500.
The result of calculation of single bored pile foundation?s bearing capacity
are, at PC-9A using Vesic (1977)?s is 2761,576 kN and using allpile is 5763,28 kN
with 1% of difference. The highest foundation bearing capacity lies within square
dimention 40 x 40 with a bearing capacity of 3698,97 kN, while the lowest
foundation bearing capacity circle dimention 30 with a bearing capacity of 2784,84
kN. The efficient variaton of PC-9A is at Ø30 with 12 m of depth and 7,6302 m3 of
volume, at Ø30 with 14 m of depth and 3, 9564 m3 of volume, at Ø40 with 12 m of
depth and 7,6302 m3 of volume, at Ø40 with 13 m of depth and 3, 6738 m3 of volume,
at 35 x 35 with 13 m of depth and 6,370 m3 of volume, and at 40 x 40 with 13 m of
depth and 8,320 m3 of volume all of it has 3698,97 kN of bearing capacity.
