Abstract :
K-500 Concrete is usually used for basement floor plates, pile cap, road and
on the bridge. Because the quality of K-500 is very strong and sturdy. It has a
composition in which more coarse aggregates of fine aggregates. Various research
and experiments in the field of concrete is done as an effort to improve the quality
of concrete. One way to improve the quality of concrete with the use of added
materials.
The purpose of this research is to bmw the compressive strength of concrete
by using the added material of Plasticizer and Silica fume and compare it with the
normal concrete. A fter the age of 7, 14, and 28 days, the compressive strength of
K-500 and K-500 + Plasticizer 3%, 4% and 5% of the K-500 + Plasticizer and
Silica Fume 1,18 kg with 9 samples in each variation.
After concrete compressive strength test, it was found that normal concrete
strength of 429,9 (Kg / Cm2) at age 7 days and 552,3 (Kg / Cm2) at 28 days. 0n
face of Plasticizer 5% and Silica Fume 1,18 Kg yielded equal to 539,4 (Kg / Cm2)
at age 7 day and 707,8 (Kg / Cm2) at age 28 day, so Plasticizer and Silica F ume
very unique to compressive strength normal concrete into. high quality concrete.
