Abstract :
Eart reatining wall is a structural wall, designed to withhstand lateral earth pressure that provoked by different of soil and loadings. This pricticular retaining wall is widely used to prevent landslide in man- made environment. Geotechnical analysis is subtantial to create a stable and sturdy retaining wall design. Stability off retaining wall that will be discussed is a case study from a failed retaining wall in a batching plant contruction. In this researce location of retaining wall in accordance wtih the image data. Then performed geotechnical analysis with palnned wall dimensions. With soil data and load data can be obtained soil pressure occurs. From the geotechnical analysis obtained the value of stability of the retaining wall in the form of security value to bolsters, shear and soil bearing capacity until the dimensions used are safe then calculated the structure of the retaining wall and obtained a plan drawing of retaining wall. Based on wall stability analysis performed concluded the wall is safe from the danger of bolster, shear and safe in the calculation of soil bearing capacity so that the wall can become one of the alternative offorts to prevent landslide hazard. keyword: Retaining Wall, Landslide
