Abstract :
Muhammadiyah Balayudha school is one of the Islamic-based integrated schools located and run under the Muhammadiyah organization in Palembang precisely in the Balayudha complex. Education is very important to deal with the advancement of time. Providing an introduction to education from an early age for children is the right step to shape their character. Education can determine a certain character in accordance with the teaching given. In addition to education from the family, both formal and non-formal education can be an effective step, such as providing religious education will have a major impact on children's development. In this day and age, there has been a phenomenon of moral degradation that arises in the midst of society. That way, improving the quality of education must be done in order to produce graduates who excel in science and technology (science and technology) and have the provision of religious knowledge, namely faith and piety. The design of the Muhammadiyah Balayudha School in Palembang, using a modern architectural theme concept approach that is by combining modern elements with Islamic elements in the building facade by adjusting existing climate conditions.
