Abstract :
Rainfall data is very important for engineering planning especially for water
structures such as irrigation, dams, urban drainage, ports, docks, and others.
Therefore, rainfall data in an area is recorded continuously to calculate the
planning that will be carried out. The recording of rainfall data which is carried
out in a watershed is carried out at several points of the rainfall recording station
to determine the amount of rain that falls on a watershed whether evenly or not.
The calculation method used in this paper is the average Algebra method,
Thiessen Polygon method, and the Isohyet method.
From the calculation of average rainfall with the algebraic average method, the
Thiessen polygon method and the Isohyet method the average rainfall in Lahat
district in 2017 was 52,538 mm, 52,320 mm and 51,793 mm and in 2018 it was
45,427 mm 45,463 mm and 44,965 mm.
the three methods are averaged back, the monthly rainfall results in 2017 are
mm and in 2018 is 45.285 mm. The average value of decline in 2017 and
2018 was 15.307%.
