Abstract :
The development of renewable energy as an alternative energy for the initial drive of generators is still small in Indonesia. That is caused by renewable energy such as wind that can only move generators with low rotation, because the wind speed in Indonesia is unstable. The solution can be overcome by designing a 3-phase, 8-pole, 12-volt axial generator in a hydroelectric generator using a DC pump. This study aims to utilize the kinetic energy of water obtained from pumps as a turbine drive and converted to electrical energy by generators. In testing, measurements using a multimeter and anemometer. The results of the test data obtained the largest output voltage of 15.02 volts at the speed of the generator generator 2010 rpm3 and 1.5 Amperes current. From the results of these tests, it can be concluded that this power plant is feasible to be used as an alternative power plant. Keywords: generator, stator, power.
