Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy of optimizing the Local Revenue through Terminal Charges in Palembang City. This type of research is descriptive research. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are using the interview method (structured interview) and documentation. The data analysis method used in this study is a qualitative analysis. The results of the research show that the optimization strategy for receiving terminal fees to increase local revenue in the Palembang City Transportation Agency is five strategies or methods carried out by the Palembang City Transportation Office, namely Expanding the revenue base, strengthening the collection process , Improve supervision, improve administrative efficiency and reduce collection costs, and Increase revenue capacity through good planning. However, the strategy undertaken by the Palembang City Transportation Office has not been reached optimally, this can be seen from the Targets set by the Palembang City Transportation Department that are greater than the Realization that has been achieved. This has resulted in the revenue of Palembang's Original Local Revenue (PAD) in the field of Retribution become unstable.
